Bruce Filsuf, Founder
and CEO
Bruce Filsuf has over 18 years of experience as a
high technology recruiter, operating executive and
technology entrepreneur. Bruce is the former Vice
President and Managing Partner at Pencom Systems,
Inc. a premier, nationally recognized High Technology
Resource Solutions Company, providing staffing and
consulting services to Fortune 1000 and start-up companies.
During his sixteen year tenure at Pencom, he helped
in national expansion of the company’s search
and recruiting efforts. In addition he helped in incubation
of three separate consulting services firm resulting
in successful IPO of Pencom Software (Concero); private
acquisition of Pencom Web Works and the successful
on going operation of Collective Technologies. Additionally,
he helped to conceive and co-found CareersAtStartups,
a practice group utilizing Internet Best Practices
and Solutions in providing on-site staffing services
for venture backed companies. Bruce began his career
working as a project manager for Aircraft Research
Lab at the University of Michigan, working on several
key projects at NASA. As a serial entrepreneur, he
was the Founder and Partner in an international trading
company based in Antwerp, Belgium. Bruce has a B.S.
and M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from University
of Michigan. He also enrolled in the PhD program in
Aeronautical Engineering at Stanford. Bruce is a member
of Phi Beta Kappa.
